Our homeschool started at a dining table in Mesa, Arizona. In Spanish, Mesa means “table.” It's also the name for the flat-topped hills you see across the desert here: plateaus. Learning works the same way. You climb, you rest on level ground for a while, and every new skill leads to the next one.
